How long are the programs?

Diploma and Associate Diploma programs for the Toronto Film School at Yorkville University are delivered online and part-time. Over a period of 24 months (8 terms), students will earn their Diploma or Associate’s Diploma from wherever they are, at a pace designed to meet the needs of our student’s busy work/life schedule. However, students who want to take fewer courses per term are also free to do so. After the first term of completing 2 foundational courses, students  are free to  take one, two, or three courses per term for the rest of the program.

 

 

What is an Associate diploma?

An Associate Diploma is an academic credential awarded upon substantial completion of a specially designated subset of those courses and requirements necessary to earn the Diploma.  The Associate Diploma is granted in evidence of the holder having achieved significant milestones in the learning process appropriate to the discipline being studied.
